Buried under those word bubbles and filters in the third panel were some major colouring breakthroughs for me. I’ve been experimenting with digital water-colouring as I go, and working with just red really gave me a chance to focus on my brush choice and pen pressure/technique.
With every comic I really feel like I’m narrowing in on the ‘look’ I’m trying to achieve with my colouring, and this page really had some big moments for me.
That and the one goon in the background with the mohawk looks really cool. Reminds me of Android 16 from Dragon Ball Z.
