I took a bold step into the world of crosshatching. Normally I’m a single direction hatching man, based on Moebius’ aptly named ‘Moebius lines’ (even though he did a ton of crosshatching as well) but I really wasn’t happy with my rocks and hills, and realized they needed more line work.
You can see me struggle all page long with trying to figure out how to crosshatch. However, on the rocks around the obelisk in the lower left corner of the big panel, and in the Mutant’s right armpit in the last panel, I think I did some pretty good work. It’s the little victories.
