  1. As simple as this page is, it was surprisingly difficult. You gotta do a lot if you’re not going to do a lot.

    Originally it was going to be just three panels, but I thought it needed just a bit more and I ‘split’ up the last panel. Even then I wasn’t going to use sound effects, but I thought “I gotta give them SOMETHING to read.”

    I love weird parts of this page. The forearm and speed lines of panel 1, the odd hands of panel 2, the pose of panel 3, and just the starkness of panel 4.
